There's nothing better than the easy-breeziness of summer, especially when it comes to shoes. No socks to contend with, no big heavy boots to lug around - summer shoes are light and lovely and just so much prettier than their winter counterparts with embellishments, prints and colours galore.
Ready to store your closed-toes and step into something a little more fabulous? Read on for some of summer's top shoe trends, then check out the gallery below for 39 pretty pairs I found at New Sudbury Centre. Simply hit the pedicure chair and you're totally good to go. Don't you just love new shoes? x
Ankle-Wrap Sandals - Seen on almost every celebrity right now, the ankle-wrap sandal is a super sexy way to dial up your summer dresses.
Sky-High Wedges - We love a good wedge since it gives us the height we crave without having to worry about tottering around on a pin-thin heel. Look for earthy cognac wedges or graphic colour-blocked wedges this season. Also be sure to consider the new modified wedge with its cool cut-out sole.
Single-Sole Pumps - Step away from the platforms - the single sole is currently where it's at. Look for pointy-toe pumps for work or sexy single-soled sandals for date night.
Gladiator Sandals - The classic Greek gladiator is back in a big way for Summer '13 and is just as comfortable as (and way sexier than) your average fllip-flop.
Easy Espadrilles and Colourful Boat Shoes - When you're ready to hit the lake, an easy flat is the perfect choice. This summer, look for an easy espadrille flat or an embellished boat shoe.
Floral Sneakers - Converse and Keds have been kicking around for decades for a reason. If you're active but want something more cute than your regular runners, the stores are loaded with cute kicks in fun florals and prints.
